Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math Science Programs

The Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math Science Programs are designed to prepare first-generation, income-qualified Nevada high school students for higher education access and success.

Program Overview

The programs are funded through the U.S. Department of Education at a cumulative $1,168,911 annually. Collectively, the four programs annually serve 246 students from eight target high schools in Washoe and Lyon counties.

To be eligible for the programs, students must be first-generation, income-qualified Nevada high school students.
